Even more than when I made this comic, basically everything I do for work involves connecting to a remote resource. And while I now have a laptop that can run off of a battery, when my power (and thus internet) went out this week while working from home, there wasn’t much I could do and it was too close to the end of the day to make it worth driving in to the office. A modern “snow day” situation, if you will.
